Nestled in the charming coastal town of Frinton-on-Sea, Fifi's cafe offers a delightful escape for both locals and visitors alike. Located at 8 Connaught Ave, this café radiates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual bite after a stroll along the beach.

Fifi's menu is a delightful blend of classic café fare and unique twists that will please any palate. Start your morning with their breakfast selection, where the 2 Poached Eggs & Avocado on Sourdough Toast stands out as a crowd-pleaser. Picture perfectly poached eggs nestling atop a creamy layer of avocado, served on artisanal sourdough that offers a satisfying crunch. Alternatively, treat yourself to the indulgence of a Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Egg dish, a classic combination that brings vibrant flavors and a touch of luxury to your morning routine.

Lunchtime guests are invited to explore the Fifi Special Sandwiches, with the Chicken, Avocado, Lettuce, Tomato, Garlic Mayo, and Parmesan sandwich available for just £7.90. Each bite reveals a medley of textures and tastes, an invigorating combination that makes for a satisfying meal. Don't miss out on their Nachos either; whether you prefer them cheesy, topped with chilli con carne, or succulent chicken, these delicious snacks are perfect for sharing or indulging solo.

Despite its modest size, Fifi's makes up for it with character. As one customer, Lucie Chandler, aptly put it, it's a "sweet little venue" with a vibe that's perfect for grabbing a bite and heading back out. It's also dog-friendly - a bonus for pet owners looking to unwind with their furry friends! While some customers have noted a slight inconsistency in service, many rave about the café's cleanliness and modern decor, making it a pleasant spot to relax.

Reviews from patrons paint a vivid picture of the experience at Fifi's. EVVI MINA lauds the fantastic service and delicious food, while Dorothy Murray highly recommends trying the eggs on toast with avocado and feta for a steal that rivals pricier eateries. Although the café can get busy, it thrives in its most intimate moments, where the subtle hum of conversation combined with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee creates a comforting enclave for diners. But be prepared; space can be limited, so arriving early to grab a seat is a wise choice. Remember to order at the bar—an easy detail to miss, as a couple of reviewers pointed out. This little gem radiates a friendly local spirit that invites you to return time and again.

In conclusion, Fifi's cafe isn't just a pitstop but a destination in itself—a place where quality food meets a warm atmosphere, perfect for creating lasting memories by the sea. Whether you’re in for breakfast, a casual lunch, or simply a cup of coffee after a stroll, Fifi’s promises a satisfying experience that’s well worth a visit.

A sweet little venue - not anything outstanding but great for a bite to eat and be on your way. -Dog friendly :) -Order at the bar, very small sign easy to miss! ( For tips etc for service serving would get you this!!) -Limited tables and automatic doors that where just held open kind of made it less intimate. -Random art work and a few meal boards with Mexican dishes added felt a bit out of touch and cheap. Has potential to be more Frinton - on - sea class, would try again in future as bagel was highlight.

Can I just say I go there most weeks after a walk on the beach with our dogs, and enjoy a capachino but without chocolate, today they got it wrong and smothered my cup of coffee with powdered chocolate, (it was ordered without) so I sent it back only to receive same cup of coffee with chocolate scraped off and possibly new milk foam, but cup edges still had chocolate on, no I didn’t complain again as had dog to contend with, just a good job I am not allergic to chocolate!!!

Good place for breakfast before enjoyng day out at the seaside. A bit more expensive than similar establishments nearby, but it's modern, clean and pleasant.

Try the eggs on toast with avocado and feta. Really delicious and comparable to much more expensive places.

Nice little cafe, good service. We had poached eggs and smashed avocado. Flavours were good but both eggs were very hard.
